When I first got them I boiled them in a large pot on the stove 2-3 at a time to release all of the natural oils for maximum absorbency. They work all night long without a booster or doubler for back up- which is great! The poo stains come out easily when prewashed by hand with Tiny Bubbles detergent for cloth diapers. I use a laundromat so I just put it on hot wash (with 1 scoop of Tiny Bubbles detergent) and dry on perm press- they come out fresh and clean every time. Use with a Snappi and Thirsties Diaper Cover and you get maximum protection along with comfort for the little ones!
