(More customer reviews)I was a bit daunted by the price of these, but I bought one and found it to exceed my expectations. I've been using Kissaluvs Contour Diapers with Diaperaps covers and the combination works pretty well. My baby is very tall for her weight and so always uses the next diaper size up and some just don't close around her legs very well, but these Imse Vimse Bumpy Wool covers work wonderfully for her. These are on the large side so they fit her well around the waist and the legs. They are well made too. There is a peice of covered elastic at the waiste that keeps it snug and the side of the velcro on the front of the diaper where you attach the sides is very large so you can adjust it to fit well. The best part of that is that the scratch velcro flap has plenty of space to lay down and "catch" on rather than staying loose and scratching her legs like the Diaperaps covers do.

The tag hangs on the front of the diaper, which I don't like when I only put a shirt on her. But I do like that it is the sort of tag that you can read after many washings - so that you don't have to remember what size you bought last time and can read it when ordering new ones. These also last longer on my baby. I go through new sizes of Diaperaps diapers very quickly, but am still using the same Imse diaper covers (after three sizes of the other).

Best of all these are machine washable as the ad says, but I throw mine in the drier and haven't had any trouble with doing that. You might not want to take my word for it though in case mine were unique, but I was able to. Also, if you don't throw them in the dryer, they dry rather quickly hanging up.

These are made in Japan and the weights given for the size are in kilograms on the label.

For being wool these aren't scratch, but they do feel like wool. If you don't like the feel of wool you probably won't like these. My baby's skin is not irritated by it and she doesn't seem to mind it. I don't like the feel of wool too much, but these are ok. I don't think I'd want to wear them myself though - but then my skin is oversensitive.

I like these and I think for the quality they offer they are definitly worth the price.
