(More customer reviews)My son is 15 months old. Some might say a bit early to start potty training... but we're so eager to move on from diapers.
Anyway these underpants fit his skinny body OK even though they're sized for an older child.

We use them at the house instead of diapers.Being less absorbent than a diaper the idea is to help him become more aware of when he is going to the bathroom so he can eventually use the many potties we have positioned around the house.

They usually catch his pee though a few times I think due to position or bad luck it escaped by his leg.oops.Anyway they worked way better than I thought they would and seem to be having the desired effect.Plus they're easier than dealing with the bulkier diapers.

(More customer reviews)I use Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers for my baby, and I'm always looking for the best (most absorbant) cloth inserts - and thus far these are them!They're nice and substantial.I have not yet tried them overnight, but I have a feeling they'd be fine without doubling for a small infant.Only curious thing was that I ordered 2 packs, and one set of 3 was a few inches longer than the other - perhaps they come in two sizes?

Imse Vimse Bumpy Wool Diaper Cover - Small Review

(More customer reviews)I was a bit daunted by the price of these, but I bought one and found it to exceed my expectations. I've been using Kissaluvs Contour Diapers with Diaperaps covers and the combination works pretty well. My baby is very tall for her weight and so always uses the next diaper size up and some just don't close around her legs very well, but these Imse Vimse Bumpy Wool covers work wonderfully for her. These are on the large side so they fit her well around the waist and the legs. They are well made too. There is a peice of covered elastic at the waiste that keeps it snug and the side of the velcro on the front of the diaper where you attach the sides is very large so you can adjust it to fit well. The best part of that is that the scratch velcro flap has plenty of space to lay down and "catch" on rather than staying loose and scratching her legs like the Diaperaps covers do.

The tag hangs on the front of the diaper, which I don't like when I only put a shirt on her. But I do like that it is the sort of tag that you can read after many washings - so that you don't have to remember what size you bought last time and can read it when ordering new ones. These also last longer on my baby. I go through new sizes of Diaperaps diapers very quickly, but am still using the same Imse diaper covers (after three sizes of the other).

Best of all these are machine washable as the ad says, but I throw mine in the drier and haven't had any trouble with doing that. You might not want to take my word for it though in case mine were unique, but I was able to. Also, if you don't throw them in the dryer, they dry rather quickly hanging up.

These are made in Japan and the weights given for the size are in kilograms on the label.

For being wool these aren't scratch, but they do feel like wool. If you don't like the feel of wool you probably won't like these. My baby's skin is not irritated by it and she doesn't seem to mind it. I don't like the feel of wool too much, but these are ok. I don't think I'd want to wear them myself though - but then my skin is oversensitive.

I like these and I think for the quality they offer they are definitly worth the price.

Bambino Mio Miosoft Trial Pack - Large Print Review

(More customer reviews)Okay so I am somewhat of a connoisseur of diapers since I run a diaper lending service and try to personally try out every single brand of diaper and cover that comes through so I can give educated recommendations.So here is what I think of the Bambino Mio - at first I was excited because I liked that it was wipeable inside, had simple, cute, gender neutral designs, and was velcro.I'm pretty much talking about the cover here because the inserts are just plain old DSQ prefolds that you could buy anywhere - good quality but nothing fancy or unusual.Once I got it the first thing that I noticed, before I even used it, was that it seemed to be made out of very thin and papery and cheap laminated plastic - it isn't your standard 1 or 2 mil PUL.When I went to put it on my daughter I noticed a few more things - it isn't very stretchy at all (the different plastic they use is not at all stretchy unlike regular PUL) and it runs pretty small.I got a large because that is what my daughter wears in most diapers but this one was at it's max to fit on her.The rise was pretty low compared to other brands so she hasn't pooped in hers, but if she had a poop that was messy at all I would be concerned about stuff popping up the back.Something else that is working against it - it doesn't have crossover tabs.Not a big deal, but since you can get lots of other covers WITH crossover tabs for the same price, why go without?Makes the dipe much more versatile.The biggest thing I dislike though is that it has no versatility.You can use it with trifolded prefolds (yours or theirs) but since the tabs are long and thin, there is very little coverage on the sides - meaning if you try to use it with a snappi'd prefold or a fitted diaper the diaper sticks out on the hips which is a leak hazard.

So - all in all - it's not a bad product per se, but with so many better options out there in the same price range, why settle?

If you think you'd like the Bambino Mio set because it is a kit - try the Bummis Organic Cotton Diapering Kit: 15+lbs - much better cover and comes with extras.If you are looking for a good quality, cute, reasonably priced cover - try Bummis Super Whisper Wrap Diaper Cover, Medium (15-30lbs), Sage Stars on White or Thirsties Diaper Cover- Butter, Small and you'll be much happier.And if you are looking for "Bambino Mio style" inserts (aka prefold diapers) try any DSQ or Chinese or Indian prefold diapers - my fave are the ones sold by Green Mountain Diapers.

(More customer reviews)The tabs will only extend the length of the sides.I thought that would be enough to make the diaper fit but I didn't realize that once a child grows bigger (as opposed to just having a big tummy) then the rise won't fit either.If the diaper isn't long enough around the legs or not coming up high enough around the back then this tab won't fix your problem.You can try to get creative and cut the tabs around the legs or add some extra snaps so you can move the tabs up higher on the diaper but if you can do that you may as well forgo buying the tabs and just make what you need.If your only problem is a cute big baby tummy and not a taller child then this can help.They go on easily and extend the length of the tab as advertised.The color didn't quite match the diaper but that isn't a big deal.

Gro Baby All Natural Baby Wipes Review
