They are only a few cents more per diaper and I feel good knowing that these are a 100% biodegradable, even the packaging they come in. They don't fall apart. We've had very few blow outs (mostly user error), and it is easy to tell when she needs to be changed.
When My 6lb 4oz daughter was born we had to use conventional disosables because she was so small. with coupons for Huggies Newborn Diapers Up to 10 Pounds), 40-Count Packages (Pack of 2), they were our favorite. I have also tried the Pampers Swaddlers Diapers, Newborn (up to 10 Lbs), 92 Swaddlers, I didn't like them cause they were so soft that they always felt wet. I went through ghetto Wal-Mart brand (hatted those).
When it is conveinet we also use cloth diapers, I have (2) bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diaper Blossom and(2) 5 Pack Ultra "All-In-One" Cloth Diaper Variety Pack - Infant Size. We like the BumGenius because it is one size fits all, it adjust to the age and in the warm days it is nice on her skin. They are easier to wash and faster to dry.
But these are the best disposable diapers on the market. Just so few places sell them.
